Ingredients
  

Blondie Base

  • ½ cup Butter, melted adds rich moisture and flavor to the blondies.

Cinnamon Swirl

  • ¼ cup Brown sugar extra sweetness with a slight molasses flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon brings that cozy spice.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted helps create a delightful swirl.

Creamy Icing

  • 4 oz Cream cheese lends a delightful tanginess.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar sweetens the icing.
  • 2 tablespoons Milk adjusts the consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract adds an extra layer of flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until glossy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  • Spread the blondie batter into the prepared dish. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the top and swirl gently with a butter knife.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  • Prepare the icing by beating cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  • Drizzle the icing over cooled blondies, allow to set slightly before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
