  • 2 large eggs

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Trim the crusts off each slice of white bread, then cut each slice into 9 equal cubes.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and salt until smooth.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • In a nonstick skillet, melt ½ tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Toss half of the bread cubes in the egg mixture and transfer them to the hot skillet.
  • Cook the bread cubes for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, tossing gently.
  • Transfer the bites immediately to the cinnamon-sugar mixture and toss to coat.
  • Place the coated Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites onto a serving plate.
  • With the remaining bread cubes, add another ½ tablespoon of butter and repeat frying.
  • Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

Day-old bread works best for fluffiness. Customize serving with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
