  • 4 apples Apples Choose your favorite variety
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Can swap with gluten-free flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs work too

  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar Reduce for less sweetness

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Wash the apples thoroughly, core and slice them into ½-inch wedges.
  • Blend together cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
  • Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with cinnamon-sugar.
  • Dredge each apple wedge in flour, dip in egg, and coat with panko.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place coated apple slices in air fryer basket, spray with cooking spray, and air fry for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove from air fryer, sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar, and serve warm.

Notes

These apple fries can be made gluten-free by substituting flour. Serve immediately for best texture.
