  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Clean 1 pound of fresh mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice evenly into ¼ inch thick pieces.
  • Prepare a dredging station with all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each mushroom slice in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat vegetable or canola oil in a large frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the coated mushroom slices in small batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drain fried mushrooms on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  • Repeat frying process until all mushroom slices are cooked.
  • Serve the fried sliced mushrooms immediately with ranch dressing.

Notes

Keep the oil at the correct temperature while frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
