  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  • In a shallow dish, mix together Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Spread flour on a plate and whisk together eggs and milk in another shallow dish.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg mixture, and then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the coated chicken for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • In a small saucepan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
