  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 packet of instant yeast, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Gradually pour in 1 ½ cups of warm water and 3 tablespoons of melted butter while stirring with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for approximately 5 minutes, until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release the air. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and flatten each slightly. Place about one tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center of each piece, fold it over to create a ball, and pinch the seams to seal.
  • Cover the baking dish with a cloth and let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes, until they are noticeably puffy.
