Preparation Steps

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, drain, and set fettuccine aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. Flake and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and once melted, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add halved cherry tomatoes and chili flakes, cooking until tomatoes are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan and reserved pasta water until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add cooked fettuccine and flaked salmon to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce for 2-3 additional minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately for the best flavor.
