  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt

  • Red gel icing color Optional
  • Green gel icing color Optional
  • Sprinkles

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with silicone baking mats.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Incorporate the vanilla and almond extracts, mixing until well combined.
  • Gradually add flour and salt, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Optionally, color the dough using gel icing colors to achieve desired vibrancy.
  • Transfer the dough into a cookie press, and pipe cookies onto the lined baking sheets.
  • Decorate cookies with colorful sprinkles if desired.
  • Bake cookies for 5-8 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 4-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
