  • ½ cup Feta cheese optional, crumbled
  • ¼ cup Pecans or walnuts optional, chopped

For the Dressing

  • ¼ cup Poppyseed dressing a zesty addition

  • Begin by rinsing 4 cups of fresh spinach under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Shake off excess water and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  • Slice 1 cup of strawberries and spread them over the spinach evenly.
  • Dice 1 ripe avocado and scatter on top of the strawberries.
  • Thinly slice ¼ cup of red onion and sprinkle atop the salad.
  • If desired, drizzle ½ cup of crumbled feta cheese and sprinkle ¼ cup of chopped nuts over the salad.
  • Pour ¼ cup of poppyseed dressing evenly over the salad.
  • Using tongs, gently toss the salad together.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
