Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of white chocolate with 2 tablespoons of vegetable shortening. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat this process until smooth and glossy, about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  • Prepare the Base: Dip the bottom of a marshmallow into the melted white chocolate and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Stack the Marshmallows: While the chocolate is warm, stack two more marshmallows on top using the melted chocolate as glue.
  • Chill if Desired: Optionally chill the marshmallow stack in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to firm it up.
