Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Phyllo Meat Pie

  • In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 8–10 minutes. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, and tomato paste. Set aside to cool.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together butter, olive oil, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Layer phyllo pastry in a greased casserole pan, brushing each layer with the mixture.
