  • Heat the oil: Over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large wok or skillet until shimmering.
  • Cook the beef: Add 1 pound of cubed beef sirloin and stir continuously for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Sauté aromatics: Add 1 large chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the rice and veggies: Stir in 2 cups of cooked rice, 1 cup of peas, and 1 cup of carrots. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Season with soy sauce: Pour in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve: Once everything is well combined and heated through, serve hot.
