  • Heat olive oil in the skillet, season beef and sear for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove beef and sauté onions for about 5 minutes.
  • Return beef to skillet, add broth and soy sauce.
  • Cover and roast beef in the oven for approximately 3-4 hours.
  • Shred the beef into bite-sized pieces after resting.
  • Preheat the broiler and prepare the baguette halves.
  • Melt cheese on the baguette halves under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
  • Assemble sandwiches with the shredded beef.
  • Serve with the remaining cooking liquid as a dipping sauce.
  • Optionally serve with horseradish sauce on the side.
