  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes

  • 8 oz lasagna noodles broken into pieces

For the Creaminess

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
  • Transfer the cooked mixture to the slow cooker. Pour in beef broth and crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine.
  • Break the lasagna noodles into small pieces and add to the slow cooker, pressing down to submerge them in the liquid. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
  • After cooking time, stir in the ricotta cheese until well incorporated.
  • Ladle soup into bowls, and top with shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and fresh basil before serving.

Notes
