Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then brown in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet for 3-5 minutes until soft.
  • Add flour, then gradually stir in milk and chicken broth until sauce thickens.
  • Layer half of sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish, top with half the sauce and half the cheese.
  • Repeat layering with remaining potatoes, sauce, and cheese. Sprinkle paprika on top.
  • Place browned pork chops on top and cover with foil.
  • Bake covered for 1 hour, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes
