  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 bay leaves remove before serving
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste

For Garnish

  • fresh herbs (thyme, parsley) optional

  • Add chopped onion, carrots, celery, minced garlic, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and salt.

  • Skim off any foam that surfaces during simmering.
  • Remove the chicken after simmering, let it cool, and strain the broth.
  • Shred the cooled chicken, discarding skin and bones.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the strained broth and warm through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
